This is the moment two high-speed trains pass each other in the blink of an eye.
The footage was captured in Shanghai by an impressed passenger on a two-week tour of China to celebrate his 40th wedding anniversary.

700km/h is 200m/s and if the train is 50m long then the pass happens in 1/4 sec.

435 miles per hour - Absolutely fantastic. Chinese are brilliant engineers, as they always have been.

It's not "A bullet train." When the two trains pass the shaking is amazing. Been there, done that.

These trains used to do 450km/h a few years ago. Have the photos to prove it.

The maglev runs at top speed of 450kmh. Not 700kph

If both trains are running at 350 kph then the closing velocity of the two will be 700 kph.

Travelled many times on the train between Changzhou and Shanghai at 300kph. The stations and trains are spotless, organisation and infrastructure are very impressive. Oh and 125 miles in 40 minutes for 75RMB (£7.50 at the then exchange rate).
